  1. "The voice of religion must be heard in the public square." So what if it is? Nobody is listening. Over the past 1/2 decade, nearly every attempt to make sure that "fundamental moral principles are not determined by mere social consensus," has been defeated by First Amendment jurisprudence. Laws concerning abortion, homosexuality, pornography, etc. have been decided without giving any credence to the fact that the majority of "we the people" are Christians who live by certain ethical codes based on religious principles that do not approve of such things. So, what makes the difference? Just saying...
